Sustainable development, attaches great importance to environmental protection, which is a global industrial and commercial operation, everyone is very concerned about the issue. The raw materials and energy used by human beings in the manufacture of all products are as green sources as possible. The cultivation of diamond growth becomes a condition for the sustainable development of the green industry:
First, the electricity used in production should not use nuclear power or thermal power, but must use green sustainable energy, such as solar energy, wind energy and hydropower.
Second, the extraction of carbon dioxide in the air to produce methane, used to grow CVD to cultivate diamonds, become all human products, the first to achieve negative carbon emissions.
Third, the total energy consumed during growth is much less than that of natural diamonds. During publicity, a third-party credible independent experimental organization must provide reliable comparative data between the two parties.
Fourth, natural diamond mining will cause great damage to the surface and serious pollution to the environment. When cultivating diamond production, there is less pollution to the environment: for example, when cultivating diamonds under high temperature and high pressure, graphite needs to be used in production. Graphite is a very fine powder and pollutes the air. After growing, the diamond needs to be cleaned by electrolysis process, and the waste acid produced will affect the environment, but the impact is limited. When CVD cultivates diamond growth, the raw materials used are hydrogen, methane, nitrogen, etc., and the small amount of tail gas produced has very limited pollution to the environment. In the publicity must also be trusted by a third party independent experimental institutions, to provide both sides have the basis of comparative data.
Fifth, the moral issues of cultivating diamonds and natural diamonds. Natural diamonds have blood diamonds and miners work and live in harsh environments that affect health. Cultivated diamonds are grown in a laboratory-like environment, there will be no blood diamond problems, and will not have a bad impact on the staff. These are the items that need to be emphasized in the future sale of cultivated diamonds.
Sixth, cultivated diamonds will be grown, cut and embedded with green energy in the future. CVD cultivated diamonds will be grown using carbon dioxide in the air as raw materials, and an independent third-party certification body will use the blockchain model to prove that our cultivated diamonds are a sustainable product.
